Annual Community Recognition Luncheon
Join us as Families Network of Western CT, Inc.’s celebrates its annual community recognition luncheon. The event, titled to honor the agency’s founders, “The Robert C. and Nancy Joy Luncheon: Celebrating Community Partnerships for the Prevention of Child Abuse” will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm at The Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury. More than 100 guests are expected. The event is generously sponsored by the Elizabeth and Joseph Massoud Family Foundation, The Compass Group, The Milana Family, Melillo-Mitchell, LLC, and Union Savings Bank.
“We believe this is an excellent opportunity to integrate our event with National Child Abuse Prevention Month and Volunteer Appreciation Week” explained Susan Giglio, Executive Director of Families Network of Western CT, Inc.
Families Network of Western CT, Inc. strives to lower the risk of child abuse and neglect by empowering parents through education and services. Some of the services provided by Families Network include phone support to first-time parents, nurturing parenting groups, intensive home visitation, and community awareness regarding infant injury prevention.
