Save the Date! Parent Leadership Alumni are invited to an evening of conversation with Connecticut State Senator Julie Kushner on Wednesday, August 21st.
So much is happening in our state government right now! Please mark your calendars and plan to join us in the Joy Center at Families Network as we meet with our State Senator. Senator Kushner will share her observations and experiences from her legislative session, and we will have the opportunity for questions and discussion about our concerns in government as well. Please bring a friend! Appetizers, wine and dessert will be provided! A future email reminder with RSVP will come out closer to the date, but mark your calendar today! The event will be Wednesday, 8/21, from 6:30 - 8:00pm in the Joy Center, 264 Main Street in Danbury. |

Danbury Parent Leaders in the News, and in the Race!
We are so proud to share the news that two of our recent Parent Leadership Training Institute alumni have entered the race for Danbury City Council. Rachel Chaleski, PLTI 2016, and Anjali Illescas, PLTI 2019, are both running for at-large seats on the Danbury City Council! Congratulations to both candidates, and best of luck in the November election!
